Steel formed into a mesh. The material is passed through a hot galvanizing bath, which produces a highly resistant coating as well as bonding the wire together at the joints. Galvanized After Welded is a strong rigid material.

GALVANIZED BEFORE WELDED

Wire mesh is produced by passing the plain strands of wire through a bath of zinc, before the wires are spot welded together to form a mesh.

GALVANIZED AFTER WEAVING

Steel Wire Cloth of 8 mesh and coarser can be galvanized after weaving with a heavy coating of zinc to provide protection against corrosion. The coating is applied by dipping the wire cloth into a bath of melted zinc. The zinc locks the wires in place at their intersections.
